1. Scope
These GTC apply to contracts between Mahmud Reza Kashani, trading as “ikeytz – Schlüsseldienst Ludwigsburg”, Adalbert-Stifter-Str. 14, 71638 Ludwigsburg, and customers for door opening, locksmith/key emergency service, lock/cylinder change, broken-key removal, security advice and installation of security technology. Deviating terms apply only if expressly agreed.
2. Conclusion of contract
A contract may be concluded by phone, email, contact form or on site when the customer places an order and ikeytz accepts it (expressly or by starting the agreed work). Where possible, problem type, expected service, travel, price/price range, material and ETA are discussed beforehand.
3. Authorisation to enter
Before a door opening, suitable proof of right of access/use may be required. If doubts remain, the job may be refused or the police involved. ikeytz accepts no liability for damage caused by incorrect customer information.
4. Prices and fixed-price agreement
The agreed price depends on the situation and ordered service. Where assessable by phone, price/fixed price is stated before departure and covers only the described services. Extra costs (material, cylinder/lock change, difficult access, other services, agreed night/Sunday/holiday surcharges) only if stated and agreed beforehand. ikeytz is a small business under § 19(1) UStG; prices are end prices without VAT. 5. Material and additional services
Required material may incur extra cost; the customer is informed of material and price before installation where possible. Extra services only with prior consent, except urgent action to prevent further damage.
6. Performance of work
Work is performed professionally. Door openings aim to be non-destructive or low-damage; if not feasible, the customer is informed. Possible damage and follow-up work are explained beforehand where the situation allows.
7. Payment
Payment is due immediately after performance unless otherwise agreed. Accepted methods may include cash, debit card, bank transfer or another expressly agreed method. Late payment follows statute.
8. Cancellation and no-show
If a customer cannot keep an appointment, they should inform ikeytz as early as possible. If a job was expressly ordered and cannot be performed for reasons attributable to the customer, actually incurred demonstrable costs may be charged where legally permitted.
9. Liability
ikeytz is liable under statute for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health and other mandatory liability. For slight negligence, only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to foreseeable typical damage. Limitations do not apply to guarantees or fraudulent concealment. Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
10. Consumer right of withdrawal
Consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal for off-premises or distance contracts. For expressly requested urgent repair/maintenance (e.g. lockout/door opening), withdrawal may be excluded under § 312g(2) no. 11 BGB for services needed to resolve the emergency; extras may differ. For planned non-emergency distance contracts, a right of withdrawal may exist. Where a right exists: you may withdraw within fourteen days without giving reasons by clear notice to Mahmud Reza Kashani / ikeytz, Adalbert-Stifter-Str. 14, 71638 Ludwigsburg, email info@ikeytz.com, phone 0155 67688091 / 07141 6964912. Timely sending suffices. Refunds and proportionate payment for services started at your request follow statute; full performance may extinguish the right where the law so provides.
11. Warranty
Statutory rights apply to defects. Please report visible defects promptly after completion so we can inspect and remedy; statutory rights remain unaffected.
12. Privacy
Information on personal data processing is in the privacy notice at /datenschutz.
13. Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board. EU ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
14. Final provisions
German law applies. Towards consumers, this choice of law does not reduce mandatory protection of their country of habitual residence. If a provision is invalid, the remainder remains effective to the extent permitted by law.
