After the opening: useful next steps
The door is open again – take a short look at lock, keys and security. No rush and no pressure for extras.
Check lock and door
Lock and unlock several times with the key. If something sticks, the cylinder binds or the lock looks damaged, talk to the technician on site. Many questions can be cleared immediately – more technical detail is under Wissen.
Optional: replace the cylinder
After a lockout or if a key was lost, a new cylinder can make sense – your choice, not a must. If you want, we clarify effort and fixed price transparently. Selection pages explain the options.
Organise a spare key
Leave a spare with someone you trust or somewhere safe you can reach in daily life. That often prevents the next lockout better than any reminder app.
