Emergency locksmith for a stolen key – Kirchheim am Neckar

A stolen key is more serious than a lost one, because someone has it on purpose. In Kirchheim am Neckar (74366) we change the cylinder of your flat or front door. If you are locked out, we open the door first.

1. Report it to the police. 2. Block your cards. 3. Call us and tell us whether you can still get in. 4. Tell your landlord if the key belongs to a master key system.

Typical buildings there are houses in the lanes of the old village and houses along the railway line. If the address and key were together, the cylinder should not wait until tomorrow. If you can’t get in: Opening plus a new cylinder on the same call-out: slammed shut 148 € / 198 €, locked 178 € / 228 €; cylinder material typically 25–50 € (standard). If you can still get in: cylinder change 89 € or 119 €, standard cylinder included.

Tuesday, 4 pm, slammed shut, opening only: 99 €. Tuesday, 4 pm, locked, opening and new cylinder: 178 € plus material. Tuesday, 8:30 pm, locked, opening and new cylinder: 228 € plus material. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

Check which door is affected. Open it if you are locked out. Change the cylinder, test the locking, hand over the keys. Invoice for your insurance or police report.

If the master key system cannot be changed straight away, a separate cylinder in the flat door is a temporary solution, if the landlord agrees. Keep the old cylinder.

Report the theft to the police. You need the confirmation for your insurance and your bank. Whether your home contents insurance pays for the cylinder change depends on your policy. With a master key system, tell the landlord, because the whole building may be affected.

Waiting to see if the key turns up again. Blocking only your bank cards and forgetting the lock. Leaving the spare key with neighbours with a name tag on it.

Carry your new keys without an address. Apply for new bank cards and a new ID card. File the invoice and the police report together.
