Before you call: short checklist
Before you book a locksmith, take a quick look around. A spare key may be enough – and real danger means emergency services first.
Calm overview
Pause briefly. Is the door only latched or locked? Is a key inside? Is a spare with family, neighbours or at work? Is a window or balcony door safely usable?
Danger first
If people are at risk or something is burning, dial 112 (or 110 if needed). That comes before any locksmith.
Fixed price on the phone
If you need help: describe the situation clearly and ask for a fixed price including travel. ikeytz uses a price matrix – e.g. door latched 99 € daytime / 1+ 49 € nights and weekends, locked 129 € / 179 €. No vague “from …” pricing.
Local and ready
Prefer a provider who really serves your area. Save a number for emergencies so you are not searching under stress.
