Latched or locked – why it matters
Both feel like “locked out”, but technically and for the fixed price they differ. A clear phone description helps both of us.
Only latched
The door closed without being locked with a key. The latch holds it. Many openings are gentler and faster – and sit in the lower fixed-price band (99 € or 1+ 49 € depending on time).
Locked
The bolt is thrown or the door was locked with a key. Effort is often higher; fixed prices are 129 € or 179 € by time window. Multi-point locks or special hardware may mean extra work – we say so before continuing.
What to say on the phone
Explain what happened: latched or locked, key inside or lost, flat or house, whether children or pets are inside. That aligns price and expectations.
No DIY attempts
