While you wait: useful next steps
The job and fixed price are confirmed by phone – travel often takes about 15 to 30 minutes. Use that time calmly and practically.
Stay reachable
Keep your phone charged and nearby. We often call shortly before arrival about the house number or name plate. Stay close to the address so the job can start without a search.
Neighbours and warmth
If you must wait in a hallway and it is cold or late, ask a neighbour whether you may wait indoors briefly. Optional – only if it feels natural.
ID and authorisation
We verify you are allowed to enter before opening. Have ID ready if you carry it. If documents are inside, show them right after opening. Neighbours can often confirm the situation.
Landlord or property manager
If you rent and suspect a broken lock – for example the key turns freely – tell the landlord or manager. Cost cover depends on contract and case; we do not promise it. Clarify in parallel while you wait.
What not to do
Do not force the door with tools or cards. That often damages lock and door and costs more. If people are at risk or there is a fire, call 112 immediately – do not wait for the technician.
