Emergency locksmith: cooker on / danger in the flat – Poppenweiler

Cooker on, iron on, candle burning, and the door in Poppenweiler (71642) is shut? If there is smoke, a smell of burning or gas, this is a job for the fire brigade on 112. Without these signs, we come.

The fire brigade is there for danger and opens the door itself. We are no replacement for the fire brigade. If there are signs of danger such as smoke, gas or an alarm, always call 112.

If you just want to check that the cooker is off, we open the door without damage. Typical buildings in Poppenweiler are winegrowers’ houses in the old centre and houses on the slope with entrances to the street and to the garden. Many houses have two entrances. Tell us which door is locked.

Slammed shut 99 € or 149 €, locked 129 € or 179 €, depending on the time. We tell you the amount on the phone.

Friday, 2:30 pm, door slammed shut: 99 €. Sunday, 12 pm, locked: 179 €. Friday, 6:30 am, door slammed shut: 149 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

We open the door without damage, you go in and switch off the cooker or appliance. Only then do we deal with anything else.

We open without damage so that the door closes again afterwards. If there is a smell of smoke when we open it after all, we close the door again and you call 112. Your safety comes first.

If you smell smoke or gas in the stairwell, warn your neighbours without using doorbells or light switches. Leave the building and call 112 from outside.

Ask the neighbours whether they can smell or hear anything. They are often closer to the kitchen than you are in the stairwell. A spare key with a neighbour is the quickest solution here.

A smoke alarm in the kitchen and hallway warns neighbours. A spare key with neighbours saves time in an emergency. Some cookers have an automatic switch-off.

Switch off the cooker and other appliances, and air the flat if nothing dangerous is there. If food has burnt and there is smoke: open the windows, close the door, check the smoke alarm.
