Fixed price, no VAT charged · daytime Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm · for PLZ 71642 (Hoheneck, Neckarweihingen, Poppenweiler, Ludwigsburg Ost)
Slammed shut means you only pulled the door closed, you didn’t lock it. This is the most common case with flat doors in Ludwigsburg (71642) and can usually be solved without damage. During the day from Monday to Friday, the fixed price for this is 99 €.
What to do now
Look for a spare key with neighbours or family. If there isn’t one, call us and give us the street, house number and floor. Don’t try to push the latch back with a card; this often damages the frame and the seal.

How we open the door
We push the latch back with a flat special tool, without touching the cylinder. On most doors this only takes a short time. Afterwards you show us your ID card or passport, or post with your address.
Latch, bolt, cylinder
The latch clicks in when you pull the door shut. The bolt only comes out when you lock the door. The cylinder is the part the key goes into. For a door slammed shut, we only need the latch; the bolt and cylinder stay untouched. That is why your key still works afterwards.
If the key is in the lock inside
If the key is in the lock on the inside, this usually doesn’t matter with a slammed door, because we work on the latch. Please tell us anyway, so we bring the right tools.
Rented flat
A door that has slammed shut usually isn’t damaged, so your landlord doesn’t need to be involved. You pay the price yourself unless something else has been agreed.
Before you call
Spare key with a neighbour? Can you reach your landlord? If not, have your address, floor and the name on the doorbell ready.
What to watch out for
Ask every company: what does it cost in total? With us, you hear 99 € on the phone if the door has only slammed shut during the day from Monday to Friday.
After the opening
Check that your keys and phone are in your pocket before you pull the door closed next time. A spare key with people you trust saves money.
