Emergency locksmith: child alone in the flat – Pflugfelden

Toddler inside, parents outside, in Pflugfelden (71636): this is one of the most common situations for an emergency locksmith. We take these calls at once, tell you the price and set off.

Talk calmly to your child through the door. Check whether the cooker, bath, balcony or windows are a danger. If there is danger: 112. Otherwise call us and stay at the door.

With a child behind the door, staying calm is what counts. Typical buildings in Pflugfelden are terraced houses, back courtyards and commercial yards next to the small old centre. If the door is in a back courtyard or commercial yard, please tell us the entrance.

Door opening, door slammed shut: Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm 99 €, Mon–Fri 6 pm–8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 149 €. Locked: 129 € or 179 €. No surcharge because a child is inside.

Sunday, 3 pm, locked: 179 €. Friday, 10:30 am, locked: 129 €. Friday, 6:30 am, door slammed shut: 149 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

We usually open the door via the latch, without damaging the cylinder. With a door that has slammed shut, this is often quick. Then you are back with your child.

If the child has turned the key on the inside, the bolt is out. Then it is a locked door. We can usually open that without damage too; it just takes a little longer.

Nobody needs to feel embarrassed about calling 112 when a child is behind the door. Better once too often. The control centre decides whether the fire brigade comes. We are the right help once it is clear that there is no danger.

Is the child answering? Is the cooker off, is no water running, are the windows closed? Is there a key in the lock on the inside? Is the door slammed shut or locked? Danger: 112. Otherwise call us and stay at the door.

Don’t leave the key in the lock on the inside when small children are around. Leave a spare key with neighbours.

With small children, do not leave the key in the lock on the inside. Doors with a fixed knob on the outside slam shut easily if the child pushes them.
