Lockout service (Aufsperrdienst) in the district of Ludwigsburg: ikeytz opens flat doors, front doors, cellar doors, cellar compartments, letterboxes and offices. Our price list applies to doors with a euro profile cylinder, like a flat door; for everything else we give you a fixed price on the phone beforehand.

For us, lockout service means: flat door, front door, cellar door, cellar storage unit, letterbox, office, medical practice or small shop. Cellars, letterboxes and offices have their own pages with the process and the price. If the door is built like a flat door, the price list applies. Otherwise we tell you a fixed price in advance.

We only open for people who are entitled: residents, tenants, owners or people with written authority. For offices we need an ID card or passport and proof relating to the business. For letterboxes the name has to match. This protects you too.

We open most doors that have slammed shut via the latch, without damage. With locked doors we work on the cylinder. If drilling or a new cylinder is needed, we tell you in advance, with the price, and you decide.

Cellar doors in blocks of flats are usually used by all residents and are part of the master key system. Your own compartment often has a padlock. If the cellar door is built like a flat door, the prices from the price list apply. For padlocks and compartments we give you a fixed price beforehand.

There is no list price for letterboxes because they vary so much: single boxes, multi-box units, sheet metal, stainless steel. We only open a letterbox if your name is on it or you are authorised, and we fit a new lock if you wish. We tell you the price beforehand.

Office doors built like flat doors cost the same as flat doors. Glass doors, smoke doors, panic locks or electronic systems are separate cases with a fixed price given beforehand. We need your ID card or passport and proof that you are allowed to have the door opened for the company.

You describe the door and lock on the phone, ideally with a photo via WhatsApp. We tell you the fixed price and our expected arrival time. On site we check your authorisation, open the door and explain whether a new lock or a new cylinder makes sense.

Door with a euro profile cylinder, like a flat door: slammed shut 99 € (Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm) or 149 € (at other times), locked 129 € or 179 €. Letterbox, padlock, special lock, multi-point locking: fixed price on the phone beforehand. Travel within the service area is always included.

A list of who has which keys saves time in an emergency: flat, cellar, letterbox, office. A spare key with someone you trust helps more than any hiding place outside the door.

If there is an official letter with a deadline in the letterbox, tell us on the phone. Deadlines often start when the letter is delivered, not when you read it. We only open for the person whose name is on the letterbox, or with a written authorisation, and fit a new lock straight away if you wish.

If an alarm system is armed, tell us beforehand and arrange who will switch it off after the opening. This way you avoid a false alarm. With electronic locking systems the manufacturer is the first to help; if the system has a mechanical emergency cylinder, we can often open it.

Older doors sometimes have warded locks instead of a euro profile cylinder. They can often be opened without damage but are not covered by the price list. We tell you the price beforehand, based on your description.

Neighbours, acquaintances or employees without a written authorisation. For shared areas such as a bicycle cellar or laundry room, simply knowing the building is not enough either. These rules protect you from a stranger having your door opened.

After the opening you get an invoice listing every item. No VAT is charged (small business under § 19 UStG). You can show the invoice to your landlord, employer or insurer if the costs are to be refunded.

Many lockout jobs, like a cellar or a letterbox, are not urgent. An appointment Mon–Fri between 8 am and 6 pm is then cheaper than in the evening or at the weekend. If it is urgent, we come at night too, at the night price we tell you beforehand.
