This page applies to offices, medical practices and small business premises. If the door is built like a normal flat door with a euro profile cylinder, our price list applies. For glass doors, smoke-protection doors, multi-point locking or electronic systems we quote a separate fixed price in advance.

If the key is lost, the cylinder should be changed, especially if customer data is kept in the office. If the door is part of a master key system, the landlord decides. We help with both, with the price in advance.

If the door is built like a flat door: slammed shut Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm 99 €, Mon–Fri 6 pm–8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 149 €; locked 129 € or 179 € respectively. Master key systems, multi-point locking, glass or smoke-protection doors: fixed price by phone in advance.

Check entitlement, look at the door, open it without damage. If needed, change the cylinder in the same trip, price in advance. Invoice made out to the company.

Some office doors have a panic function: from the inside they can always be opened, even when locked. From the outside you need a key or a card. Such locks are not a standard case; we tell you the price in advance.

Smoke-protection doors and glass doors in commercial buildings have special fittings. They can often only be repaired with parts from the manufacturer. Opening is usually possible, but a replacement needs planning. We tell you in advance what is possible and what it costs.

Offices often hold customer or patient data. That is why we only open for the owner, the management or people with written authorisation. If the key is lost, a new cylinder also makes sense from a data protection point of view.

Who owns or rents the premises? Who is placing the order? Single door or master key system? Glass door, smoke-protection door or normal wooden door? Can we get into the building? Which company should the invoice be made out to? With this information we tell you the price in advance.

If an alarm system is armed, tell us beforehand. Clarify who will switch it off after opening, and inform the security company if necessary. That way you avoid a false alarm and the costs that come with it.

If someone leaves the company and does not return all their keys, a new cylinder makes sense. A key register with dates and signatures helps you keep track.

Doctors’ surgeries, law firms and advice centres hold confidential documents. We only work on the door and do not go into the rooms any further than necessary. The authorised person goes in first.

You receive an invoice made out to your company. ikeytz is a small business under § 19 UStG, so no VAT is shown on the invoice. This applies to all our fixed prices.

If cleaners or service providers have keys, record this in the key register. A key safe with a code is an alternative, as long as the code is changed regularly.

Chip, card or keypad locks are a field of their own. If they fail, the manufacturer or installer is usually the first port of call. If the system has a mechanical emergency cylinder, we can often open the door; we tell you the price beforehand.

If someone needs to get into the office at the weekend or on a public holiday, the night rate applies: slammed shut 149 €, locked 179 €, if the door is built like a flat door. If you can plan ahead, book the appointment Mon–Fri between 8 am and 6 pm.

A spare key with the management or in a secure safe outside the premises saves time in an emergency. Note down where it is and who has access.

If the office is in a residential building, the front door of the building is often locked too. Sort out who will let us into the building. The same rules apply to the office door as to a flat door, if it is built the same way.

If you urgently need documents or a computer from the office, tell us on the phone. We tell you honestly when we expect to be there, so that you can let your customers know in good time.
