Lockout service for letterboxes – Ludwigsburg West

Is the letterbox in Ludwigsburg West (71634) stuck, or is the key gone? ikeytz opens it and changes the lock. We tell you on the phone what it costs.

For banks of letterboxes in blocks of flats, the property management often has a spare key or a spare lock. Ask them first.

We come to Ludwigsburg West, about 3.9 km as the crow flies from the ikeytz office in Adalbert-Stifter-Straße. A letterbox is rarely an emergency; we will find an appointment, ideally Monday to Friday during the day. If the door is on an industrial estate, please tell us the company name on the gate.

There is no list price for letterboxes. We tell you a fixed price on the phone before we set off. No ‘from’ price, no surprises on site.

We only open letterboxes that have your name on them or that you are entitled to open. Afterwards we change the lock if you like.

Most letterboxes have a small lever lock or a mini cylinder that turns a bolt. Replacement locks come in many lengths and shapes. We measure beforehand so that the new lock fits and the flap closes tightly.

In blocks of flats, a letterbox in a shared unit usually belongs to the owner. A new lock should match the unit. We clarify this with you beforehand.

If there is an official letter with a deadline in the letterbox, tell us. Then we look for an early appointment. Deadlines often start when the letter is delivered to the letterbox, not when you read it; so it is worth not waiting long. Please clarify legal questions about this with the relevant authority.

Levering the flap open with a screwdriver. Buying a lock that does not match the letterbox unit.

It can make sense to keep your letterbox key separate from your flat key; then you do not lose everything at once.
