Inform when it fits
If you suspect a broken lock – for example the key turns freely – or repeated problems: tell the landlord or property manager. That documents the situation while you wait for the technician or follow up afterwards.
Clarify costs – no guarantee
Whether rent, household insurance or the contract covers anything depends on the case. Check and clarify yourself or with your manager – we do not promise third-party cost cover and do not replace legal advice.
Keep the fixed price clear anyway
Whoever may pay later: get the fixed price on the phone. At ikeytz: latched 99 € or 1+ 49 €, locked 129 € or 179 € depending on the time window. Then you know what to discuss with the manager.
Authorisation and access
The technician checks that you are allowed to open the flat. ID and, if useful, a tenancy document or neighbour confirmation help. Details on ID checks are in the related guide.
