How to recognise trustworthy help
Under stress it is hard to judge offers. A few clear signs help – calmly, without listing other companies by name.
Fixed price on the phone
Trustworthy help quotes a clear fixed price including travel before the job – no vague “from …” pricing and no surprise at the door. ikeytz uses a price matrix: latched 99 € daytime or 1+ 49 € nights and weekends, locked 129 € or 179 €. Anything extra is stated beforehand.
Local and reachable
Ask whether the provider really serves your area and what arrival time is realistic. ikeytz is a mobile locksmith – no walk-in shop, we come to you. A saved number and a clear website or imprint help you orient.
ID checks are normal
Checking ID and authorisation before opening is responsible, not suspicious. It protects you and the resident. If papers are inside, show them right after opening; neighbours can often confirm the situation.
Stay calm, describe clearly
Say whether the door is latched or locked, key inside or lost, flat or house. That aligns price and expectations. Under stress, prefer fixed-price local help over unknown numbers from a quick search.
