We come to Oberstenfeld, about 17.8 km as the crow flies from the ikeytz office in Adalbert-Stifter-Straße. We give you an honest arrival time on the phone. If your child gets distressed or stops answering, call 112. Tell us the village: main village, Gronau or Prevorst; the distances between them are long.

Usually the door has just slammed shut: 99 € Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm, otherwise 149 €. If it was locked: 129 € or 179 €.

Sunday, 8 am, locked: 179 €. Wednesday, 10 pm, door slammed shut: 149 €. Wednesday, 2:30 pm, door slammed shut: 99 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

We usually open the door via the latch, without damaging the cylinder. With a door that has slammed shut, this is often quick. Then you are back with your child.

If the child has turned the key on the inside, the bolt is out. Then it is a locked door. We can usually open that without damage too; it just takes a little longer.

Nobody needs to feel embarrassed about calling 112 when a child is behind the door. Better once too often. The control centre decides whether the fire brigade comes. We are the right help once it is clear that there is no danger.

Children sense when adults are panicking. Talk calmly, sing a song or tell a story through the door. That helps more than rattling the handle.

Don’t leave the key in the lock on the inside when small children are around. Leave a spare key with neighbours.

Take time for your child. Take the key out of the lock when you leave the flat. A spare key with neighbours helps next time.
