Emergency locksmith: child alone in the flat – Pattonville

Toddler inside, parents outside, in Pattonville (71638): this is one of the most common situations for an emergency locksmith. We take these calls at once, tell you the price and set off.

If your child is crying and not answering, water is running, the cooker is on or a window is open: call 112 straight away. The fire brigade opens the door in such cases. Only when there is no danger are we the right help.

Pattonville is between Ludwigsburg, Aldingen and the Neckar, connected via the B27 and Aldinger Straße. Typical buildings there are rows of houses from the time of the American housing estate and newer residential buildings. Tell us on the phone that a child is inside. Tell us whether you live in the eastern or western part: the eastern part belongs to Remseck, the western part to Kornwestheim.

Door opening, door slammed shut: Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm 99 €, Mon–Fri 6 pm–8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 149 €. Locked: 129 € or 179 €. No surcharge because a child is inside.

Wednesday, 11 am, door slammed shut: 99 €. Wednesday, 11 am, locked: 129 €. Wednesday, 10 pm, door slammed shut: 149 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

We usually open the door via the latch, without damaging the cylinder. With a door that has slammed shut, this is often quick. Then you are back with your child.

If the child has turned the key on the inside, the bolt is out. Then it is a locked door. We can usually open that without damage too; it just takes a little longer.

Nobody needs to feel embarrassed about calling 112 when a child is behind the door. Better once too often. The control centre decides whether the fire brigade comes. We are the right help once it is clear that there is no danger.

Children sense when adults are panicking. Talk calmly, sing a song or tell a story through the door. That helps more than rattling the handle.

Rattling the door with force, which frightens the child. Asking the child to go to the lock or the window. Calling a locksmith first instead of 112 when there is danger.

Take time for your child. Take the key out of the lock when you leave the flat. A spare key with neighbours helps next time.
