Emergency locksmith for a lost key – Sersheim

No key, door shut: in Sersheim we open flat and front doors at a fixed price. What matters for the price: has the door just slammed shut (zugefallen), or is it locked (abgeschlossen)?

If only the latch has clicked in, the door has slammed shut. If you locked it with the key, the bolt is thrown. That makes the price difference: 99 € or 129 € Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm.

Sersheim is on the Enz between Sachsenheim, Vaihingen and Oberriexingen, on the railway line. Typical buildings there are houses near the tracks and at the edge of the fields. We always try a non-destructive opening first; only if that doesn’t work do we tell you beforehand what else is needed. At the edge of the fields, directions from the main road help.

Slammed shut 99 € Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm, otherwise 149 €. Locked 129 € or 179 €. With a new cylinder: 148 € / 198 € or 178 € / 228 €, plus material.

Saturday, 12 pm, slammed shut, opening and new cylinder: 198 € plus material. Tuesday, 9 am, slammed shut, opening only: 99 €. Tuesday, 8:30 pm, locked, opening and new cylinder: 228 € plus material. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

We check the door and lock, open it without damage and check with you that you live there. Then you decide whether the cylinder should be changed.

We open the door so that the door, frame and cylinder stay intact. This works with most standard doors. Only with special cylinders or damaged locks may drilling be necessary; we tell you in advance, with the price, and you decide.

In a rented flat, the landlord may also have a spare key. Ask them if you can reach them. If the lost key belongs to a master key system, you need to tell them anyway.

Leave a spare key with someone you trust, without an address tag. To avoid a door slamming shut on you, take a second to think about your key as you leave.

A spare key with family, friends or neighbours saves time and money. Never put your address on your key ring.
