Locked door opening, Mon–Fri 18–08 · Night / weekend / holidays

What “locked” means technically at night

At night the mechanics do not change: the deadbolt is extended. So we use the same non-destructive opening as daytime — at the profile cylinder, without drilling, as long as it stays standard. What changes is the price. Slam at night is 149 €, not 179 €. If you are unsure (deadbolt versus latch), we clarify on the phone and name the matching fixed price before anyone sets out.

What is in the fixed price 179 €

Included: travel within the service area, locked opening, identity check before opening. We do not open without an authorisation check — not even at 2 a.m. Not included: a new profile cylinder. Key gone and new cylinder on the same trip: 228 € at night (material extra). Door already open, cylinder only: 119 €. Fitting only after a paid opening: 49 €.

When this night price applies — and when it does not

This page covers the night/weekend/public holiday price: Mon–Fri 6 pm–8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Baden-Württemberg. During the day, Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm (not on public holidays), it costs 129 € — see the daytime page. Difficulties (multi-point locking, high-security cylinder, drilling) and long extra travel are quoted beforehand as their own fixed price. Inside the service area, travel is included in the 179 €.

From the call to opening at night

You call or write. We ask: locked or slammed shut, whether the night price applies, address or postcode, whether a cylinder change is needed. Then we name 179 € (or the matching other fixed price). Only after that do we drive. On site: identity check, then non-destructive opening. If everything fits and no cylinder is needed — you are back inside, without a materials invoice for a cylinder you did not order.

How this differs from related services

Locked during the day: 129 €. Slammed shut at night: 149 €. Locked plus new cylinder at night: 228 € (material extra). Fitting only after a paid opening: 49 €. Each service has its own fixed price.

Service area, office and reachability

We come to Ludwigsburg and surroundings. Adalbert-Stifter-Straße 14 is the imprint address – not a shop. The fixed price on the phone applies to the standard service in the service area. Reachable seven days a week: outside daytime hours, this night price applies. WhatsApp and email use the same prices. No invented emergency surcharges outside the published fixed prices.

Your town or postcode at night

Besides this page there are local pages for each place and postcode, with information about the area. The place or postcode only changes the local link; the fixed price stays 179 €.

Keys lost on the way home

Many night-time calls begin after a party. You come home by taxi, on the last bus or on foot, and only at the door do you notice that your keys are missing. First check all your pockets, including inside pockets and the bag of whoever is with you. If you can, call the taxi company, or report the loss to the public transport operator the next day. After that, you can decide calmly whether to have the door opened.

Waiting in the cold: car, neighbours, entrance hall

In winter, waiting outside quickly becomes unpleasant. If your car is parked in front of the house, sit in it and let us call you when we are nearby. If a neighbour is still awake, ask whether you may wait at their place. With children, try not to stand out on the street. A warm stairwell is better than the pavement.

Sunday, public holiday or a long night

On public holidays in Baden-Württemberg, the same fixed price applies as on any night: 179 € for a locked door. This also applies at Easter or on the First of May. Christmas Eve is not a public holiday: Monday to Friday before 6 pm the day price of 129 € applies. No further surcharge is added, not even in the early hours of the morning. What matters for you: you hear the price on the phone before we set off. So there is no nasty surprise later on.

Just moved and your ID shows the old address

At night, people often realise that their ID card still shows their previous address. That is no reason to worry. Instead, show your tenancy agreement, or ask a neighbour who already knows you to confirm briefly that you live there. The property management can also confirm it if they can be reached at night. Without one of these proofs we do not open the door, and in the end that protects you too.

Wallet gone along with the keys

If your bank card and ID card are missing as well as your keys, block your cards immediately on 116 116. If you suspect theft, report it to the police. Remember that anyone who finds your ID together with your keys knows your address. In that case, a new cylinder on the same night makes sense. We are happy to discuss this with you before we drive out to you.

Does the night price already apply on Friday after 6 pm?

Yes. Monday to Friday between 6 pm and 8 am, the fixed price for a locked door is 179 €. This is a separate price of its own and not a surcharge.

Is it worth waiting until the morning?

That is your decision. Monday to Friday between 8 am and 6 pm, the door opening costs 129 €. If you have a safe, warm place to sleep, waiting can be an option.

Is a new cylinder fitted automatically at night?

No. A new cylinder is only added if you want one, or if drilling was necessary and you agreed to it. The fitting then costs 49 € plus material.
