Lockout service for letterboxes – Besigheim

A letterbox is small but important: official letters, bank post, parcel notices. In Besigheim we come to you as a mobile service and open it, with a fixed price in advance.

A single letterbox on a house, or a bank of letterboxes in a block of flats? Is there still a key? Should a new lock be fitted? With this information we can tell you the price.

Besigheim lies where the Enz flows into the Neckar, with an old town on the spur between the two rivers. There you typically find heavy wooden doors in narrow old-town lanes and 1970s estate houses on the edge. In blocks of flats the letterboxes often hang inside in the hallway; then we need to get into the building. In the old town there is hardly anywhere to stop. Tell us where a vehicle can park nearby.

That depends on whether we only open it or whether a new lock should go in. We tell you the fixed amount on the phone in advance.

We only open letterboxes that have your name on them or that you are entitled to open. Afterwards we change the lock if you like.

Most letterboxes have a small lever lock or a mini cylinder that turns a bolt. Replacement locks come in many lengths and shapes. We measure beforehand so that the new lock fits and the flap closes tightly.

We only open letterboxes for the person whose name is on them, or with written authorisation. The privacy of correspondence applies to us too. Have your ID card or passport ready.

Is your name on the letterbox? Do you have an ID card or passport? Single box or bank of letterboxes? Inside in the hallway or outside on the wall? Does the property management have a spare key? Should a new lock be fitted? With this information we tell you a fixed price on the phone before we set off.

Levering the flap open with a screwdriver. Buying a lock that does not match the letterbox unit.

It can make sense to keep your letterbox key separate from your flat key; then you do not lose everything at once.

Besigheim (74354): town in the district of Ludwigsburg, about 14.6 km as the crow flies from the ikeytz office in Adalbert-Stifter-Straße. We offer this service in Walheim, Gemmrigheim and Löchgau too, at the same prices.
