Emergency locksmith for older people – 74354

For older people in Besigheim, it matters that nobody puts pressure on them at the door. With us you get the price first, an explanation of every step and an invoice.

Call us with the name and address. Tell us whether the person is waiting outside and whether the door has slammed shut or is locked. Ask a neighbour to stay with the person.

We tell you the price before we set off and we stick to it. Typical buildings in Besigheim are heavy wooden doors in narrow old-town lanes and 1970s estate houses on the edge. In the old town there is hardly anywhere to stop. Tell us where a vehicle can park nearby.

Slammed shut 99 € Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm, otherwise 149 €. Locked 129 € or 179 €. We tell you the amount on the phone before we set off.

Wednesday, 2:30 pm, locked: 129 €. Wednesday, 10 pm, door slammed shut: 149 €. Sunday, 8 am, locked: 179 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

We explain beforehand what we will do. Then we open the door without damage. Afterwards we quickly check that the key and lock are fine, and we give you an invoice.

Older people often just pull the door shut when taking out the rubbish or emptying the letterbox. Then only the latch has clicked into place. We can usually open this without damage. A key left in the cylinder on the inside can make the work harder; tell us if it is there.

Before we start work, we introduce ourselves by name, tell you the price and explain what we are doing. We check that the person lives there. Relatives are welcome to join on the phone at any time. Nobody has to sign anything they have not understood.

If the person is standing outside in winter or important medication is in the flat, tell us. Ask neighbours to bring the person inside until we arrive.

Don’t let anyone talk you into work you didn’t order. Always ask for the total price first. Don’t sign anything you don’t understand.

Write the phone numbers of your relatives and of the locksmith on a note in your purse or wallet. If you have a home emergency alarm, ask the provider about leaving a key with them.
