Lockout service for letterboxes – Ditzingen

A letterbox is small but important: official letters, bank post, parcel notices. In Ditzingen we come to you as a mobile service and open it, with a fixed price in advance.

For banks of letterboxes in blocks of flats, the property management often has a spare key or a spare lock. Ask them first.

Ditzingen lies in the south of the district on the border with Stuttgart, with Hirschlanden, Heimerdingen and Schöckingen as districts. There you typically find new builds on the edge of town and flats above the pedestrian zone. In blocks of flats the letterboxes often hang inside in the hallway; then we need to get into the building. Tell us the district: Ditzingen, Hirschlanden, Heimerdingen or Schöckingen.

There is no list price for letterboxes. We tell you a fixed price on the phone before we set off. No ‘from’ price, no surprises on site.

Check the name and your ID, open the letterbox, if possible without bending the flap. If you wish, a new lock with two keys.

With many letterboxes, the lock can be opened without damaging the flap. Sometimes it is easier to destroy the old lock and fit a new one. We tell you that in advance, together with the price.

We only open letterboxes for the person whose name is on them, or with written authorisation. The privacy of correspondence applies to us too. Have your ID card or passport ready.

Is your name on the letterbox? Do you have an ID card or passport? Single box or bank of letterboxes? Inside in the hallway or outside on the wall? Does the property management have a spare key? Should a new lock be fitted? With this information we tell you a fixed price on the phone before we set off.

Banks of letterboxes often belong to the landlord. A new lock should match the unit; we check this in advance.

It can make sense to keep your letterbox key separate from your flat key; then you do not lose everything at once.

Ditzingen (71254): town in the district of Ludwigsburg, about 12.6 km as the crow flies from the ikeytz office in Adalbert-Stifter-Straße. We offer this service in Gerlingen, Korntal-Münchingen and Schwieberdingen too, at the same prices.
