Fixed price, no VAT charged · material extra · nights, weekends and public holidays · Hoheneck
Locked out at night in Hoheneck, the door only pulled shut, but the key is gone? If the old key shouldn’t fit any more tonight, we open the door and change the cylinder: 198 € plus material.
Tonight or tomorrow?
You can just have the door opened tonight (149 €) and have the cylinder changed later Mon–Fri during the day (89 € with the door open, standard cylinder included). Or everything tonight for 198 € plus material. If there was an address on the key, we advise doing it tonight.
At night in Hoheneck
Hoheneck is on the Neckar north of Ludwigsburg, with steep lanes running down the slope to the river. Typical there are old winegrowers’ houses and post-war houses with a garden on the valley side. We carry common cylinders at night too. With houses on the slope, please tell us whether the entrance is on the street or down on the valley side.
No night surcharge on top
198 € is the fixed package price. The 49 € in it are for fitting, not a night surcharge. Only the material is added.
Worked examples for Hoheneck
Monday, 7 pm, slammed shut, new cylinder: 198 € plus material. Sunday, 9 am, slammed shut, new cylinder: 198 € plus material. For comparison: night, opening only: 149 €. Monday, 9 am, daytime, with cylinder: 148 € plus material. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.
After midnight
Even late at night: price first, then the work. You decide before fitting whether you want a standard or security cylinder.
Package price at night
198 € is made up of the night opening (149 €) and the fitting (49 €). The 49 € is not a surcharge but the labour for fitting the cylinder.
Why change it tonight
If the key was lost with your address, the first night is the least safe. A new cylinder ends the risk straight away.
Rented flat
Please keep the old cylinder; it usually belongs to the landlord.
Tell your neighbours
If the key was lost in the building or nearby, let your neighbours know. Whoever finds it can then return it.
Checklist for the night
Only pulled shut? Key lost, maybe with your address? Should the cylinder be changed tonight? Then 198 € plus material.
Common mistakes
Only having the door opened at night, although the key was lost with an address. Not asking for the material price beforehand.
The next day
Have more keys copied from the new original. Leave a spare key with someone you trust.
