Lock change after a lost key – 71563

A lost key is a risk if it went missing together with your address, for example with your ID card in your wallet. In Affalterbach (71563) we then change the lock cylinder so that the old key no longer fits.

Think about what else was on the key ring: front door, car, office, letterbox? Was your name or address on it? If so, the cylinder should be changed soon. If you rent and the key is part of a master key system, inform your landlord.

If your key only locks your flat door, the case is simple: new cylinder, new keys, done. If it also locks the front door of the building, the basement and the letterbox, it is probably a master key system. Then the owner has to decide. In both cases, we tell you the price beforehand.
