Lockout service for letterboxes – 74321

Lost your letterbox key in Bietigheim-Bissingen and important post is waiting? We open letterboxes and fit a new lock if you wish. There is no list price for letterboxes; we tell you the fixed price in advance.

For banks of letterboxes in blocks of flats, the property management often has a spare key or a spare lock. Ask them first.

Bietigheim-Bissingen lies on the Enz between Ludwigsburg, Tamm and Besigheim, with Bietigheim by the viaduct and Bissingen just north of it. There you typically find half-timbered houses in the old town and estates behind the viaduct. In blocks of flats the letterboxes often hang inside in the hallway; then we need to get into the building. Tell us whether it is Bietigheim or Bissingen; many street names are only known in one part.

That depends on whether we only open it or whether a new lock should go in. We tell you the fixed amount on the phone in advance.

We only open letterboxes that have your name on them or that you are entitled to open. Afterwards we change the lock if you like.

With many letterboxes, the lock can be opened without damaging the flap. Sometimes it is easier to destroy the old lock and fit a new one. We tell you that in advance, together with the price.

We only open letterboxes for the person whose name is on them, or with written authorisation. The privacy of correspondence applies to us too. Have your ID card or passport ready.

If there is an official letter with a deadline in the letterbox, tell us. Then we look for an early appointment. Deadlines often start when the letter is delivered to the letterbox, not when you read it; so it is worth not waiting long. Please clarify legal questions about this with the relevant authority.

Levering the flap open with a screwdriver. Buying a lock that does not match the letterbox unit.

Keep a second key in your flat. If a new lock is fitted, give the property management a key if they want one.
