Lockout service for letterboxes – 74385

A letterbox is small but important: official letters, bank post, parcel notices. In Pleidelsheim we come to you as a mobile service and open it, with a fixed price in advance.

A single letterbox on a house, or a bank of letterboxes in a block of flats? Is there still a key? Should a new lock be fitted? With this information we can tell you the price.

Pleidelsheim lies on the Neckar at the A81 junction between Freiberg, Ingersheim and Benningen. There you typically find estate houses near the motorway and older houses towards the river bank. In blocks of flats the letterboxes often hang inside in the hallway; then we need to get into the building. Tell us whether you live more on the motorway side or by the river bank.

That depends on whether we only open it or whether a new lock should go in. We tell you the fixed amount on the phone in advance.

Check the name and your ID, open the letterbox, if possible without bending the flap. If you wish, a new lock with two keys.

With many letterboxes, the lock can be opened without damaging the flap. Sometimes it is easier to destroy the old lock and fit a new one. We tell you that in advance, together with the price.

We only open letterboxes for the person whose name is on them, or with written authorisation. The privacy of correspondence applies to us too. Have your ID card or passport ready.

Is your name on the letterbox? Do you have an ID card or passport? Single box or bank of letterboxes? Inside in the hallway or outside on the wall? Does the property management have a spare key? Should a new lock be fitted? With this information we tell you a fixed price on the phone before we set off.

Banks of letterboxes often belong to the landlord. A new lock should match the unit; we check this in advance.

Keep a second key in your flat. If a new lock is fitted, give the property management a key if they want one.
