Lockout service for basements – 74385

Cellar door in Pleidelsheim shut and the key is gone or still inside? We open cellar doors and cellar storage units. If the door is built like a flat door, the price from the list applies; otherwise we tell you a fixed price in advance.

Does the caretaker or the property management have a key for the shared cellar door? That is often quicker. Your own storage unit is your own responsibility.

We come to Pleidelsheim, about 9.1 km as the crow flies from the ikeytz office in Adalbert-Stifter-Straße. Cellar doors are rarely an emergency; we will find a suitable appointment with you. Tell us whether you live more on the motorway side or by the river bank.

If the door is built like a flat door: slammed shut Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm 99 €, Mon–Fri 6 pm–8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 149 €; locked 129 € or 179 € respectively. Padlocks, storage units and special locks have no list price; for these we tell you a fixed price in advance.

Friday, 11 am, locked: 129 €. Friday, 11 am, door slammed shut: 99 €. Friday, 6:30 am, door slammed shut: 149 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

Look at the door, confirm the price, open it. For shared doors we have a quick word with the property management if needed.

Many cellar doors have a mortice lock with a euro profile cylinder like a flat door, often with a fixed knob outside and a handle inside. Others are steel fire doors, and others are just slatted partitions with a padlock. Only the first type has a list price; for the others we tell you a fixed price in advance.

For your basement storage unit, your ID card or passport together with your tenancy agreement or the name on the unit is usually enough. If anything is unclear, we ask the property management.

Shared cellar door or your own storage unit? Cylinder or padlock? Does the caretaker or the property management have a key? Is there something urgent in the cellar, such as medication or tools for water damage? With this information we plan the appointment and the price.

We only open other people’s storage units with proof of entitlement. Have your tenancy agreement or other proof ready.

Buy a new padlock and keep a second key in your flat. For shared doors, let the property management know.
