Lockout service for letterboxes – 74391

A letterbox is small but important: official letters, bank post, parcel notices. In Erligheim we come to you as a mobile service and open it, with a fixed price in advance.

For banks of letterboxes in blocks of flats, the property management often has a spare key or a spare lock. Ask them first.

On site we check the name on the letterbox and your ID card or passport. In Erligheim you typically find houses on the edge of the village and older houses near the old wine press. At night it is dark between the vineyards. A light at the door helps us find you.

That depends on whether we only open it or whether a new lock should go in. We tell you the fixed amount on the phone in advance.

We only open letterboxes that have your name on them or that you are entitled to open. Afterwards we change the lock if you like.

With many letterboxes, the lock can be opened without damaging the flap. Sometimes it is easier to destroy the old lock and fit a new one. We tell you that in advance, together with the price.

In blocks of flats, a letterbox in a shared unit usually belongs to the owner. A new lock should match the unit. We clarify this with you beforehand.

Is your name on the letterbox? Do you have an ID card or passport? Single box or bank of letterboxes? Inside in the hallway or outside on the wall? Does the property management have a spare key? Should a new lock be fitted? With this information we tell you a fixed price on the phone before we set off.

Levering the flap open with a screwdriver. Buying a lock that does not match the letterbox unit.

Keep a second key in your flat. If a new lock is fitted, give the property management a key if they want one.
