How we work

Non-destructive first. If something has to be replaced, such as a padlock, we tell you in advance.

Unlocking or door opening?

Both mean the same: opening locked doors. The word Aufsperrdienst (lockout service) is used mainly in southern Germany. With us, the same fixed prices apply.

Cellar unit, letterbox, office

These cases differ mainly in who may give the job and in the type of lock. There is no list price for cellar units and letterboxes; office doors that are like flat doors cost the same as flat doors.

Only for people with the right

We only unlock for residents, tenants, owners or people with written authority. We do not open other people’s cellars or letterboxes.

Front door in a block of flats

If the front door downstairs is locked and the flat door upstairs as well, we open both. Tell us on the phone and we give you the price for both doors in advance.

Garages and gates

Garage doors and yard gates often have their own locks. Whether we can open them, and at what price, we tell you on the phone after you describe them. A photo helps.

Photos help

For unusual locks, a photo via WhatsApp helps. Then we can give you a more exact price.

Who decides about shared areas

The front door, cellar corridor, bike cellar and laundry room belong to everyone. There we only unlock with the consent of the owner or the management. We open your own flat, your storage unit and your letterbox for you with your ID card or passport.

Common mistakes

Breaking it open yourself and causing more damage. Having someone else’s unit opened.

After unlocking

Plan new keys or locks if something is missing.
