How it works

Call, price, travel, opening, ID check. Extra work only after you say yes.

Non-destructive opening

With standard doors we almost always open without damage. Only security cylinders, multi-point locking or faults can make drilling necessary; we tell you in advance.

Slammed shut or locked?

If the door gives a tiny bit when you push it and you did not turn the key, it is probably only slammed shut. If you turned the key when you left, it is locked.

If there is danger

If someone in the flat is in danger, call 112. After a break-in, call 110 first.

If several doors are shut

In blocks of flats the front door of the building is sometimes locked too. Then we open two doors. Tell us on the phone so we can give you the price for both. Often a neighbour lets you into the stairwell, and then it stays at one door.

Checklist

Slammed shut or locked? Key inside or lost? What time is it? With this we give you one of the fixed prices.

Around the clock

We open doors around the clock. Mon–Fri during the day the lower prices apply; in the evening, at night, at weekends and on public holidays the night prices apply.

Common mistakes

Trying it yourself with a card or tools. Climbing in through a window. Booking without a total price.

Prevention

A fixed place for the key next to the door helps you avoid pulling the door shut without it.
