Lockout service for basements – Grünbühl

Whether it is a cellar door in a block of flats or a storage unit with a padlock in Grünbühl: we come to you as a mobile service and open it, without damage wherever possible.

Does the caretaker or the property management have a key for the shared cellar door? That is often quicker. Your own storage unit is your own responsibility.

Grünbühl lies north of Ludwigsburg town centre on the Sonnenberg, near the B27. There you typically find stairwells in post-war blocks and terraced houses with a back door. Cellars in blocks of flats often have one shared door and individual storage units. With terraced houses, please tell us whether it is the front door or the door to the garden.

If the door is built like a flat door: slammed shut Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm 99 €, Mon–Fri 6 pm–8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 149 €; locked 129 € or 179 € respectively. Padlocks, storage units and special locks have no list price; for these we tell you a fixed price in advance.

Friday, 10:30 am, locked: 129 €. Sunday, 3 pm, locked: 179 €. Friday, 10:30 am, door slammed shut: 99 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

Look at the door, confirm the price, open it. For shared doors we have a quick word with the property management if needed.

Many cellar doors have a mortice lock with a euro profile cylinder like a flat door, often with a fixed knob outside and a handle inside. Others are steel fire doors, and others are just slatted partitions with a padlock. Only the first type has a list price; for the others we tell you a fixed price in advance.

For your basement storage unit, your ID card or passport together with your tenancy agreement or the name on the unit is usually enough. If anything is unclear, we ask the property management.

Shared cellar door or your own storage unit? Cylinder or padlock? Does the caretaker or the property management have a key? Is there something urgent in the cellar, such as medication or tools for water damage? With this information we plan the appointment and the price.

We only open other people’s storage units with proof of entitlement. Have your tenancy agreement or other proof ready.

Valuables do not belong in the basement. A good padlock with a hardened shackle is not much effort.
