Emergency locksmith at night

Locked out at night in the district of Ludwigsburg? From 6 pm the night rate applies. It is a separate fixed price, not a surcharge on the daytime price, and we tell you it on the phone before we set off.

Find a well-lit, safe spot near the door. Call us and tell us whether the door has slammed shut or is locked. Have your ID card or passport ready if you have it with you.

At night and at weekends we work outside normal hours. That is why there are separate night prices. They are fixed and are on the price list; no surcharge is added.

If the door has just slammed shut and you can sleep at a friend’s, waiting until 8 am on the next Monday to Friday that is not a public holiday saves you the difference between 149 € and 99 €. Whether that is worth it is your decision. With cold weather, children or medication in the flat, waiting is not worth it.

Mon–Fri 6 pm–8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: opening when the door has slammed shut 149 €, locked 179 €. With a new cylinder 198 € or 228 €, plus material typically 25–50 €. Cylinder only with the door open 119 €. These are separate fixed prices for the night; no further surcharge is added.

Call, hear the fixed price, say yes. We come, open the door without damage, and you briefly show us that you live there.

There are ten final prices: opening slammed shut, opening locked, each with or without a new cylinder, and cylinder only with the door open, each by day and at night. At night they are 149 €, 179 €, 198 €, 228 € and 119 €. At 198 € and 228 € the cylinder material is added (standard typically 25–50 €); at 119 € the standard cylinder is included.

49 € is the fitting of a new cylinder in the same trip after an opening. It is not a night surcharge. The 49 € is already included in 198 € and 228 €. Nobody adds 49 € on top of the night price.

At night, too, we only open doors for residents or authorised people. Show your ID card or passport, or post with your address after opening. This is how we protect you and your neighbours.

At night, the front door of the building is often locked too. Ring a neighbour you know, or wait in the car. Tell us on the phone whether we need to open two doors; then we give you the price for that.

When it is cold, it is better to wait in the car, at a neighbour’s or somewhere that is open, such as a petrol station. Keep your mobile switched on so we can reach you when we arrive.

If you are standing at your door alone at night, you can ask a friend to stay on the phone with you until we arrive. We introduce ourselves by name and only open the door once it is clear that you live there.

Lost property offices are closed at night. If possible, call the taxi company. For buses and trains, the transport company’s lost property office can help the next day. Until then, we open your flat, and you can decide later about a new cylinder.

At night, lock the door from the inside and do not leave the key in the lock if your cylinder has no emergency function. That way, someone with a spare key can get in during an emergency.

Tuesday, 10 pm, door slammed shut: 149 €. Friday, 7 pm, locked: 179 €. Sunday, 2 am, locked, key gone, new cylinder: 228 € plus material. We tell you these amounts on the phone before we set off.

If you are staying in a holiday flat, first call the landlord or the accommodation’s emergency number. If you cannot reach anyone, we open the door with the landlord’s consent; we tell you the price beforehand.

If your key is lost, take your time deciding whether to change the cylinder. This can also be done during the day at the daytime price.
