Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday in the district of Ludwigsburg and the door is shut? We come at weekends too, at a fixed price that we tell you first.

Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm the daytime price applies. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Baden-Württemberg count as night rate all day, as does Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 8 am. These include, for example, Epiphany (Heilige Drei Könige), Corpus Christi (Fronleichnam) and All Saints’ Day (Allerheiligen).

If you can stay somewhere else comfortably and there is nothing urgent in the flat, you can wait until 8 am on the next Monday to Friday that is not a public holiday. Then the daytime price applies. That is your decision; we give you both prices honestly.

Opening when the door has slammed shut 149 €, locked 179 €. With a new cylinder 198 € or 228 €, material typically 25–50 €. Cylinder only with the door open 119 €.

The price list has two time bands: Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm is day, everything else is night. Saturday and Sunday count as night all day, as do the public holidays in Baden-Württemberg. That is why a door that has slammed shut costs 149 € at midday on a Saturday and 99 € at midday on a Monday.

If only the latch has clicked into place, the door has slammed shut: 149 € at the weekend. If you locked it, the bolt is out: 179 €. We ask about this on the phone so that the price is right from the start.

At weekends, too, we only open the door if you live there or are authorised. An ID card or passport, or post with your address, is usually enough.

Is the door slammed shut or locked? Is there a key in the lock on the inside? Should a new cylinder be fitted straight away because the key is gone? Where can we park? Is anyone in the flat who needs help? With these answers we can tell you the price in one sentence. If people are in danger, the rule applies at weekends too: 112.

New Year’s Day, Epiphany, Good Friday, Easter Monday, 1 May, Ascension Day, Whit Monday, Corpus Christi, the Day of German Unity, All Saints’ Day, and Christmas Day and Boxing Day. On these days, the night rate applies all day. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve are not statutory public holidays; on these days the night rate applies from 6 pm if they fall Mon–Fri.

On bridge days (Brückentage) and during the school holidays, landlords, neighbours and family are often away. If you go away, sort out beforehand who has a spare key. A bridge day itself is a normal Mon–Fri day, with the daytime price between 8 am and 6 pm.

If you are going away for the weekend, check that you have your key before pulling the door shut. Many lockouts happen while packing a suitcase. A spare key with neighbours also helps if you come back and have lost your key while away.

For pricing, all of Saturday counts like the night: slammed shut 149 €, locked 179 €. If you can wait until 8 am on Monday, and Monday is not a public holiday, you pay 99 € or 129 €.

If a public holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the price does not change: the weekend price applies anyway. If it falls on a Monday, that Monday also counts as the night rate all day.

At weekends, many neighbours are at home. Ask whether someone has a spare key or can let you in until we arrive. Maybe you will not need a call-out at all.
