99 €

Fixed price, no VAT charged · daytime Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm · for Kornwestheim

Slammed shut means you only pulled the door closed, you didn’t lock it. This is the most common case with flat doors in Kornwestheim (70806) and can usually be solved without damage. During the day from Monday to Friday, the fixed price for this is 99 €.

What to do now

Look for a spare key with neighbours or family. If there isn’t one, call us and give us the street, house number and floor. Don’t try to push the latch back with a card; this often damages the frame and the seal.

During the day in Kornwestheim

During the day from Monday to Friday, many neighbours are at work, so a spare key is hard to get. Typical in Kornwestheim are estate blocks, old buildings by the railway and former rows of the US housing estate towards Pattonville. For a door that has slammed shut, that’s no problem. If you live in the western part of Pattonville, that belongs to Kornwestheim. Please mention it on the phone.

How we open the door

We push the latch back with a flat special tool, without touching the cylinder. On most doors this only takes a short time. Afterwards you show us your ID card or passport, or post with your address.

Doors with a fixed knob

Many flat doors have a fixed knob on the outside instead of a handle. They slam shut very easily, for example in a draught. For the opening this makes no difference; the price stays 99 € during the day.

Why the latch is enough

The latch is the angled bolt that clicks into place when you pull the door closed. It keeps the door shut, but it doesn’t lock it. That’s why a slammed door is easier to open than a locked one, and that’s why the price is lower.

Only for residents

We only open doors for people who live there or who have the right to enter. If your ID is inside, show it to us after the opening. This protects you too.

Checklist

Only pulled shut? Key inside or lost? Children, pets or a hob switched on in the flat? Mon–Fri between 8 am and 6 pm? Then you already know the price: 99 €.

What to watch out for

Ask every company: what does it cost in total? With us, you hear 99 € on the phone if the door has only slammed shut during the day from Monday to Friday.

So it doesn’t happen again

A hook for your key right next to the door and a spare key with neighbours help the most.
