149 €
Fixed price, no VAT charged · nights, weekends and public holidays · for Gerlingen
Late at night in Gerlingen in front of a door that has slammed shut? From 6 pm, at weekends and on public holidays, the opening costs 149 €. That’s the full price, not a surcharge on top of the daytime price.
Waiting safely at night
Find a bright, safe place: the stairwell, a neighbour, your car. Keep your phone on. Tell us whether you only pulled the door closed or locked it.
At the weekend in Gerlingen
At weekends, property management companies usually can’t be reached. For a door that has slammed shut, we don’t need the property management. Typical in Gerlingen are flats in multi-storey buildings with underground parking and terraced houses on the slope. With housing complexes, tell us the building, the entrance and the name on the doorbell.
Why 149 €
At night and at weekends there is a separate fixed price. Nothing is added on top. If you can wait until the daytime price applies again from 8 am Mon–Fri (not on a public holiday), you pay 99 €; it’s your decision.
Worked examples for Gerlingen
Friday, 8:30 pm, slammed shut: 149 €. Saturday, 8 am, slammed shut: 149 €. Sunday, 9 am, slammed shut: 149 €. For comparison: Friday, 2:30 pm, slammed shut: 99 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.
Opening quietly
At night we work as quietly as possible, so the neighbours aren’t woken up. With slammed doors we don’t need any drilling tools for this.
Public holidays in Baden-Württemberg
Besides Christmas, Easter and Whitsun, public holidays in Baden-Württemberg also include Epiphany (Heilige Drei Könige), Corpus Christi (Fronleichnam) and All Saints’ Day (Allerheiligen). On these days the night price of 149 € applies all day.
When the night rate starts
From Monday to Friday, the night rate starts at 6 pm and ends at 8 am. If you call shortly before 6 pm, we tell you clearly beforehand which price applies.
Spotting a reputable service
A reputable emergency service tells you the total price on the phone. Ask questions if you are only given prices that start with “from”.
Wait or call?
If you can sleep at a friend’s and need nothing from the flat, you save 50 € by waiting until the day price applies again from 8 am Mon–Fri. If it is cold, or there are children or medication involved, waiting is not worth it.
What to watch out for
149 € is the final price for a door that has slammed shut at night. If someone turns up and wants much more, although nothing else is needed, ask for the reason.
For next time
A note on the inside of the door: Keys? Phone? This helps many people who pop out quickly in the evening.
