Lock change after a lost key – 74379

Your bunch of keys is gone, but the door in Ingersheim still opens because someone has a spare key. Now is the right time for a new cylinder. We tell you the price in advance and come to you as a mobile service.

Quickly check the usual places and ask at the local lost property office (Fundbüro). If the key is really gone, call us. Tell us whether you can still get into the flat; the price depends on it.

We come to you in Ingersheim, about 10.2 km as the crow flies from the ikeytz office in Adalbert-Stifter-Straße. If you can still get in, it is a planned cylinder change. If you are locked out, we open the door first and then fit the new cylinder in the same trip. Tell us whether it is Großingersheim or Kleiningersheim.

Door open: 89 € Monday to Friday during the day, otherwise 119 €, standard cylinder included. If the door has to be opened first, the opening (99 € / 149 € slammed shut, 129 € / 179 € locked) is followed by fitting in the same trip for 49 €; the cylinder then typically costs 25–50 € (standard).

Wednesday, 10:30 am, door open, cylinder only: 89 €. Wednesday, 10:30 am, locked out, slammed shut, new cylinder: 148 € plus material. Saturday, 3 pm, door open, cylinder only: 119 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

We check which cylinder is fitted, measure the length and fit a new one. You test the new keys yourself. You can have more keys cut later; with security profiles this is only possible with the security card.

The new cylinder has the same length as the old one, unless the old one stuck out too far. Then we choose a shorter one. The locking is new, and old keys no longer fit. If you want more protection, choose a security cylinder with a card.

If your key only locks your flat door, the case is simple: new cylinder, new keys, done. If it also locks the front door of the building, the basement and the letterbox, it is probably a master key system. Then the owner has to decide. In both cases, we tell you the price beforehand.

Waiting, even though your address and key were lost together. Only thinking about the lock on the flat door, but forgetting the garage or letterbox. Sending someone out without a fixed price.

A spare key with family or neighbours saves money next time. With security cylinders, keep the security card separate from the key.
