What happens on site
We look at the door, check the cylinder, open it and look at your ID. If drilling is needed, for example with a security cylinder, we tell you beforehand, with the price.
How the bolt locks
When you lock the door, the key turns the cylinder and the bolt goes deep into the strike plate. It only gives way when the cylinder is turned again. That is exactly where we work.
Bolt instead of latch
When you lock the door, the bolt is thrown and holds the door firmly in the frame. That’s why the method for slammed doors doesn’t work here, and that’s why the opening costs more.
Only for authorised people
We only open doors for residents or people with the right to enter. Show us your ID card or passport, or post with your address, after the opening is fine.
Before you call
Ask your landlord or family about a spare key. Have your address and the name on the doorbell ready.
Common mistakes
Forcing the cylinder round. Drilling yourself. Booking without a price.
After the opening
If your key is lost and had an address on it, a new cylinder is worth it. With the door open, a change costs 89 € during the day.
