Slammed shut means you only pulled the door closed, you didn’t lock it. This is the most common case with flat doors in Marbach am Neckar (71672) and can usually be solved without damage. During the day from Monday to Friday, the fixed price for this is 99 €.
Slammed shut or locked?
Did you turn the key when you left? Then the door is locked, and a different price applies. If you only pulled it closed, just the angled latch sits in the strike plate. Tell us which applies; if you don’t know, we’ll work it out together.
During the day in Marbach am Neckar
During the day from Monday to Friday, many neighbours are at work, so a spare key is hard to get. Typical in Marbach am Neckar are houses in narrow old-town lanes and 1970s houses in the estates on the slope. For a door that has slammed shut, that’s no problem. In the old town, please tell us where we can stop briefly.
What the 99 € cover
Included: travel to Marbach am Neckar, damage-free opening of the slammed door, a check that you live there. Not included: a new cylinder, multi-point locking or drilling. For anything extra, we give you a fixed price beforehand.

What happens on site
We arrive, look at the door, confirm that it has only slammed shut, and open it. If it turns out the door was locked after all, we tell you before we carry on and give you the right price.
Doors with a fixed knob
Many flat doors have a fixed knob on the outside instead of a handle. They slam shut very easily, for example in a draught. For the opening this makes no difference; the price stays 99 € during the day.
If the key is in the lock inside
If the key is in the lock on the inside, this usually doesn’t matter with a slammed door, because we work on the latch. Please tell us anyway, so we bring the right tools.
Only for residents
We only open doors for people who live there or who have the right to enter. If your ID is inside, show it to us after the opening. This protects you too.
Checklist
Only pulled shut? Key inside or lost? Children, pets or a hob switched on in the flat? Mon–Fri between 8 am and 6 pm? Then you already know the price: 99 €.
Common mistakes
Trying with a credit card or wire and ruining the seal. Climbing in through a window from the balcony. Booking a company that won’t give you a total price.
So it doesn’t happen again
A hook for your key right next to the door and a spare key with neighbours help the most.
