Emergency locksmith for a stolen key – 71672

Bag stolen, with your key and ID card? Then the thief may know your address in Marbach am Neckar. Have the cylinder changed so the key no longer fits. We come to you and tell you the price first.

1. Report it to the police. 2. Block your cards. 3. Call us and tell us whether you can still get in. 4. Tell your landlord if the key belongs to a master key system.

Marbach am Neckar is on the Neckar north-east of Ludwigsburg, with an old town on the spur above the river. Typical buildings there are houses in narrow old-town lanes and 1970s houses in the estates on the slope. If the address and key were together, the cylinder should not wait until tomorrow. In the old town, please tell us where we can stop briefly.

Locked out: opening plus a new cylinder 148 € / 198 € (slammed shut) or 178 € / 228 € (locked), material typically 25–50 €. Door open: 89 € Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm, otherwise 119 €.

Tuesday, 11 am, locked, opening and new cylinder: 178 € plus material. Tuesday, 8:30 pm, locked, opening and new cylinder: 228 € plus material. Tuesday, 11 am, slammed shut, opening only: 99 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

Check which door is affected. Open it if you are locked out. Change the cylinder, test the locking, hand over the keys. Invoice for your insurance or police report.

If the master key system cannot be changed straight away, a separate cylinder in the flat door is a temporary solution, if the landlord agrees. Keep the old cylinder.

Report the theft to the police. You need the confirmation for your insurance and your bank. Whether your home contents insurance pays for the cylinder change depends on your policy. With a master key system, tell the landlord, because the whole building may be affected.

Think of every door the key opens: front door, garage, letterbox. Keep the police report confirmation for your insurance.

Carry your new keys without an address. Apply for new bank cards and a new ID card. File the invoice and the police report together.
