Lockout service for letterboxes – Tamm

Lost your letterbox key in Tamm and important post is waiting? We open letterboxes and fit a new lock if you wish. There is no list price for letterboxes; we tell you the fixed price in advance.

For banks of letterboxes in blocks of flats, the property management often has a spare key or a spare lock. Ask them first.

Tamm lies between Ludwigsburg and Bietigheim on the high ground, on the S-Bahn and the B27. There you typically find terraced houses and 1970s multi-storey buildings near the S-Bahn stop. In blocks of flats the letterboxes often hang inside in the hallway; then we need to get into the building. With multi-storey buildings, please tell us the entrance and the floor.

There is no list price for letterboxes. We tell you a fixed price on the phone before we set off. No ‘from’ price, no surprises on site.

We only open letterboxes that have your name on them or that you are entitled to open. Afterwards we change the lock if you like.

Most letterboxes have a small lever lock or a mini cylinder that turns a bolt. Replacement locks come in many lengths and shapes. We measure beforehand so that the new lock fits and the flap closes tightly.

In blocks of flats, a letterbox in a shared unit usually belongs to the owner. A new lock should match the unit. We clarify this with you beforehand.

Is your name on the letterbox? Do you have an ID card or passport? Single box or bank of letterboxes? Inside in the hallway or outside on the wall? Does the property management have a spare key? Should a new lock be fitted? With this information we tell you a fixed price on the phone before we set off.

Banks of letterboxes often belong to the landlord. A new lock should match the unit; we check this in advance.

Keep a second key in your flat. If a new lock is fitted, give the property management a key if they want one.
