Emergency locksmith for older people – Tamm

For older people in Tamm, it matters that nobody puts pressure on them at the door. With us you get the price first, an explanation of every step and an invoice.

Call us with the name and address. Tell us whether the person is waiting outside and whether the door has slammed shut or is locked. Ask a neighbour to stay with the person.

Tamm is between Ludwigsburg and Bietigheim on the high ground, on the S-Bahn and the B27. Typical buildings there are terraced houses and 1970s multi-storey buildings near the S-Bahn stop. We ask to see an ID card or post with the address, so we are sure we are opening the right door. With multi-storey buildings, please tell us the entrance and the floor.

Door opening, door slammed shut: Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm 99 €, Mon–Fri 6 pm–8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 149 €. Locked: 129 € or 179 €. No surcharge for older people, no call-out fee within the service area.

Tuesday, 1 pm, door slammed shut: 99 €. Tuesday, 8:30 pm, door slammed shut: 149 €. Tuesday, 1 pm, locked: 129 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

We explain beforehand what we will do. Then we open the door without damage. Afterwards we quickly check that the key and lock are fine, and we give you an invoice.

If a care service comes regularly, a key safe on the wall is a help. With a home emergency call service (Hausnotruf) you can often leave a key. Both save valuable time in an emergency.

Sadly, there are dubious firms that put older people under pressure at the door. Always ask for the total price before any work starts. Do not let anyone talk you into extra work. With us, the price we give you on the phone is the price that applies.

If the person is standing outside in winter or important medication is in the flat, tell us. Ask neighbours to bring the person inside until we arrive.

Don’t let anyone talk you into work you didn’t order. Always ask for the total price first. Don’t sign anything you don’t understand.

Write the phone numbers of your relatives and of the locksmith on a note in your purse or wallet. If you have a home emergency alarm, ask the provider about leaving a key with them.
