Lockout service for basements – 74376

Cellar door in Gemmrigheim shut and the key is gone or still inside? We open cellar doors and cellar storage units. If the door is built like a flat door, the price from the list applies; otherwise we tell you a fixed price in advance.

Does the caretaker or the property management have a key for the shared cellar door? That is often quicker. Your own storage unit is your own responsibility.

Gemmrigheim lies on the Neckar between Besigheim and Kirchheim, with vineyards above the river. There you typically find houses in the lower lanes by the river and new builds up on the slope. Cellars in blocks of flats often have one shared door and individual storage units. Tell us whether you live down by the Neckar or up in the new housing area.

If the door is built like a flat door: slammed shut Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm 99 €, Mon–Fri 6 pm–8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 149 €; locked 129 € or 179 € respectively. Padlocks, storage units and special locks have no list price; for these we tell you a fixed price in advance.

Wednesday, 2:30 pm, door slammed shut: 99 €. Wednesday, 10 pm, door slammed shut: 149 €. Sunday, 12 pm, locked: 179 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

Look at the door, confirm the price, open it. For shared doors we have a quick word with the property management if needed.

Many cellar doors have a mortice lock with a euro profile cylinder like a flat door, often with a fixed knob outside and a handle inside. Others are steel fire doors, and others are just slatted partitions with a padlock. Only the first type has a list price; for the others we tell you a fixed price in advance.

In a block of flats, the basement door belongs to all the owners or to the landlord. If it is opened or its cylinder is changed, this affects everyone in the building. That is why, with shared doors, we check who is placing the order. We open your own storage unit for you as a tenant or owner.

If water is running in the cellar and the door is shut, first call the property management or an emergency plumber. We open the door if nobody has a key; we tell you the price in advance.

Breaking open the shared cellar door even though the caretaker has a key. Opening a padlock with an angle grinder and damaging the hasp.

Valuables do not belong in the basement. A good padlock with a hardened shackle is not much effort.
