99 €
Fixed price, no VAT charged · daytime Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm · for Gemmrigheim
You just took the rubbish out, and the door in Gemmrigheim has already clicked shut. If only the latch has caught, we open it without damage. Mon–Fri between 8 am and 6 pm you pay 99 € for this, with no surcharge.
What to do now
Look for a spare key with neighbours or family. If there isn’t one, call us and give us the street, house number and floor. Don’t try to push the latch back with a card; this often damages the frame and the seal.
Door slammed shut in Gemmrigheim
Gemmrigheim is on the Neckar between Besigheim and Kirchheim, with vineyards above the river. Typical there are houses in the lower lanes by the river and new builds up on the slope. With a flat door that has slammed shut, we work on the latch, not on the cylinder. Tell us whether you live down by the Neckar or up in the new housing area.
What the 99 € cover
Included: travel to Gemmrigheim, damage-free opening of the slammed door, a check that you live there. Not included: a new cylinder, multi-point locking or drilling. For anything extra, we give you a fixed price beforehand.

How we open the door
We push the latch back with a flat special tool, without touching the cylinder. On most doors this only takes a short time. Afterwards you show us your ID card or passport, or post with your address.
Latch, bolt, cylinder
The latch clicks in when you pull the door shut. The bolt only comes out when you lock the door. The cylinder is the part the key goes into. For a door slammed shut, we only need the latch; the bolt and cylinder stay untouched. That is why your key still works afterwards.
If the key is in the lock inside
If the key is in the lock on the inside, this usually doesn’t matter with a slammed door, because we work on the latch. Please tell us anyway, so we bring the right tools.
Only for residents
We only open doors for people who live there or who have the right to enter. If your ID is inside, show it to us after the opening. This protects you too.
Checklist
Only pulled shut? Key inside or lost? Children, pets or a hob switched on in the flat? Mon–Fri between 8 am and 6 pm? Then you already know the price: 99 €.
Common mistakes
Trying with a credit card or wire and ruining the seal. Climbing in through a window from the balcony. Booking a company that won’t give you a total price.
So it doesn’t happen again
A hook for your key right next to the door and a spare key with neighbours help the most.
