198 €
Fixed price, no VAT charged · material extra · nights, weekends and public holidays · Mundelsheim
If you want to sleep knowing the lost key can no longer open anything, you need a new cylinder. In Mundelsheim we do this together with the opening: 198 € plus material.
Waiting safely
Wait in the stairwell, with neighbours or in your car. Keep your phone on. Tell us where you lost the key.
Night call-out to Mundelsheim (74395)
We come to Mundelsheim at night and at weekends, about 13.5 km as the crow flies from the ikeytz office in Adalbert-Stifter-Straße. We tell you the expected arrival time on the phone. Many hillside streets have no pavement. Tell us where we can stop.
No night surcharge on top
198 € is the fixed package price. The 49 € in it are for fitting, not a night surcharge. Only the material is added.
Worked examples for Mundelsheim
Sunday, 5 pm, slammed shut, new cylinder: 198 € plus material. For comparison: night, opening only: 149 €. Tuesday, 11:15 pm, slammed shut, new cylinder: 198 € plus material. Tuesday, 10:30 am, daytime, with cylinder: 148 € plus material. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.
How it works at night
We open via the latch, measure the cylinder, tell you the material price, fit it and test the lock. We work as quietly as possible.
Material at night
We carry cylinders in common lengths. For security cylinders with a card or special lengths, a second appointment may be needed; we tell you the price for it in advance.
Why change it tonight
If the key was lost with your address, the first night is the least safe. A new cylinder ends the risk straight away.
ID at night too
At night we check just as carefully that you live there. If your ID is inside, show it to us after the opening.
Upgrade later
If you want a security cylinder, it can make sense to fit a standard cylinder tonight and the better one later.
Checklist for the night
Only pulled shut? Key lost, maybe with your address? Should the cylinder be changed tonight? Then 198 € plus material.
Common mistakes
Only having the door opened at night, although the key was lost with an address. Not asking for the material price beforehand.
The next day
Have more keys copied from the new original. Leave a spare key with someone you trust.
