99 €
Fixed price, no VAT charged · daytime Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm · for Mundelsheim
You just took the rubbish out, and the door in Mundelsheim has already clicked shut. If only the latch has caught, we open it without damage. Mon–Fri between 8 am and 6 pm you pay 99 € for this, with no surcharge.
What to do now
Look for a spare key with neighbours or family. If there isn’t one, call us and give us the street, house number and floor. Don’t try to push the latch back with a card; this often damages the frame and the seal.
Door slammed shut in Mundelsheim
Mundelsheim is in a bend of the Neckar below the Käsberg, between Hessigheim and Pleidelsheim. Typical there are houses on narrow hillside streets, often with a second entrance on the valley side. With a flat door that has slammed shut, we work on the latch, not on the cylinder. Many hillside streets have no pavement. Tell us where we can stop.

What happens on site
We arrive, look at the door, confirm that it has only slammed shut, and open it. If it turns out the door was locked after all, we tell you before we carry on and give you the right price.
Doors with a fixed knob
Many flat doors have a fixed knob on the outside instead of a handle. They slam shut very easily, for example in a draught. For the opening this makes no difference; the price stays 99 € during the day.
If the key is in the lock inside
If the key is in the lock on the inside, this usually doesn’t matter with a slammed door, because we work on the latch. Please tell us anyway, so we bring the right tools.
Rented flat
A door that has slammed shut usually isn’t damaged, so your landlord doesn’t need to be involved. You pay the price yourself unless something else has been agreed.
Before you call
Spare key with a neighbour? Can you reach your landlord? If not, have your address, floor and the name on the doorbell ready.
Common mistakes
Trying with a credit card or wire and ruining the seal. Climbing in through a window from the balcony. Booking a company that won’t give you a total price.
After the opening
Check that your keys and phone are in your pocket before you pull the door closed next time. A spare key with people you trust saves money.
