Fixed price, no VAT charged · daytime Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm · for Mundelsheim
Slammed shut means you only pulled the door closed, you didn’t lock it. This is the most common case with flat doors in Mundelsheim (74395) and can usually be solved without damage. During the day from Monday to Friday, the fixed price for this is 99 €.
Slammed shut or locked?
Did you turn the key when you left? Then the door is locked, and a different price applies. If you only pulled it closed, just the angled latch sits in the strike plate. Tell us which applies; if you don’t know, we’ll work it out together.
During the day in Mundelsheim
During the day from Monday to Friday, many neighbours are at work, so a spare key is hard to get. Typical in Mundelsheim are houses on narrow hillside streets, often with a second entrance on the valley side. For a door that has slammed shut, that’s no problem. Many hillside streets have no pavement. Tell us where we can stop.
What the 99 € cover
Included: travel to Mundelsheim, damage-free opening of the slammed door, a check that you live there. Not included: a new cylinder, multi-point locking or drilling. For anything extra, we give you a fixed price beforehand.

How we open the door
We push the latch back with a flat special tool, without touching the cylinder. On most doors this only takes a short time. Afterwards you show us your ID card or passport, or post with your address.
Latch, bolt, cylinder
The latch clicks in when you pull the door shut. The bolt only comes out when you lock the door. The cylinder is the part the key goes into. For a door slammed shut, we only need the latch; the bolt and cylinder stay untouched. That is why your key still works afterwards.
Why the latch is enough
The latch is the angled bolt that clicks into place when you pull the door closed. It keeps the door shut, but it doesn’t lock it. That’s why a slammed door is easier to open than a locked one, and that’s why the price is lower.
Only for residents
We only open doors for people who live there or who have the right to enter. If your ID is inside, show it to us after the opening. This protects you too.
Checklist
Only pulled shut? Key inside or lost? Children, pets or a hob switched on in the flat? Mon–Fri between 8 am and 6 pm? Then you already know the price: 99 €.
What to watch out for
Ask every company: what does it cost in total? With us, you hear 99 € on the phone if the door has only slammed shut during the day from Monday to Friday.
So it doesn’t happen again
A hook for your key right next to the door and a spare key with neighbours help the most.
