Lockout service for basements – 71706

Whether it is a cellar door in a block of flats or a storage unit with a padlock in Markgröningen: we come to you as a mobile service and open it, without damage wherever possible.

Does the caretaker or the property management have a key for the shared cellar door? That is often quicker. Your own storage unit is your own responsibility.

Cellar doors vary a lot, from a wooden slatted partition to a steel door. In Markgröningen you typically find very old half-timbered houses with doors in non-standard sizes and prefabricated houses on the edge. With old half-timbered doors, tell us whether there is a modern cylinder or an old rim lock, if you know.

If the door is built like a flat door: slammed shut Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm 99 €, Mon–Fri 6 pm–8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 149 €; locked 129 € or 179 € respectively. Padlocks, storage units and special locks have no list price; for these we tell you a fixed price in advance.

Tuesday, 8:30 pm, door slammed shut: 149 €. Sunday, 12 pm, locked: 179 €. Tuesday, 11 am, locked: 129 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

Look at the door, confirm the price, open it. For shared doors we have a quick word with the property management if needed.

Cellar doors to the stairwell are often fire doors that close by themselves. They must not be kept open permanently. If you often need to go to the cellar, always take your key with you.

For your basement storage unit, your ID card or passport together with your tenancy agreement or the name on the unit is usually enough. If anything is unclear, we ask the property management.

If water is running in the cellar and the door is shut, first call the property management or an emergency plumber. We open the door if nobody has a key; we tell you the price in advance.

We only open other people’s storage units with proof of entitlement. Have your tenancy agreement or other proof ready.

Valuables do not belong in the basement. A good padlock with a hardened shackle is not much effort.
