Fixed price, no VAT charged · material extra · daytime Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm · Markgröningen
Your door in Markgröningen has slammed shut, and the key isn’t inside but lost? Then you need more than just the opening: we open the door and fit a new cylinder straight away. During the day from Monday to Friday this costs 148 € plus material.
Before you call
Think about where you lost the key and whether an address was attached. Check whether the key also locks the front door or the cellar; then a master key system may be affected.
Cylinder change in Markgröningen
Markgröningen is west of Ludwigsburg on the Glems, with a half-timbered old town on the high ground. Typical there are very old half-timbered houses with doors in non-standard sizes and prefabricated houses on the edge. We bring common cylinder lengths, so everything works in one visit. With old half-timbered doors, tell us whether there is a modern cylinder or an old rim lock, if you know.
What’s included
Travel to Markgröningen, damage-free opening, fitting of the new cylinder, test locking. Extra: the cylinder material. A security cylinder costs typically 25–70 € more.

Open first, then change
We open the slammed door via the latch. Then we measure the cylinder, tell you the material price and fit the new one. You test all the new keys.
What 49 € fitting means
49 € is the labour for fitting a new cylinder when we are there for the opening anyway. The travel is already paid for then. The material comes on top.
How many keys?
A standard cylinder comes with several keys. If you need more, have them copied from the original later.
Insurance
Some household contents or personal liability policies pay out if you lose your key. Keep our invoice.
Checklist
Door only pulled shut? Key really lost? Address on the key? Do you want the old key to stop working? Then the package for 148 € plus material is right.
Common mistakes
Only having the door opened and living with the risk for weeks. Booking a second appointment later and paying for travel again.
After the change
Give a spare key to someone you trust. Don’t attach your address to the key ring.
