Waiting safely
Don’t wait alone on a dark street at night. Ask neighbours for help or wait in your car. Keep your phone on.
Public holiday in Markgröningen
On public holidays, landlords and property management can hardly be reached. Typical in Markgröningen are very old half-timbered houses with doors in non-standard sizes and prefabricated houses on the edge. We still open the door at a fixed price. With old half-timbered doors, tell us whether there is a modern cylinder or an old rim lock, if you know.
Fixed, not roughly
179 € is the final price for a locked door at night. If you can wait until 8 am on the next day Mon–Fri, you pay 129 €.

How it works at night
We confirm the price, travel to you, open the door via the cylinder and look at your ID. If drilling were needed, we tell you beforehand.
When the night price starts
Mon–Fri the night price applies from 6 pm to 8 am, and all day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Key turned on the inside
If someone locked the door from the inside and left the key in the lock, the opening is harder. Tell us, and we’ll bring the right tools.
ID at night too
At night we check just like during the day that you live there. If your ID is inside, show it to us after the opening.
Spare key at night
A spare key with neighbours only helps at night if you are allowed to ring their bell. Agree with them in advance whether that is OK in an emergency.
Checklist for the night
A safe place to wait? Locked or only slammed shut? Key lost? Security cylinder? Then we tell you 179 € or the right other price.
What to watch out for
If someone on site asks for much more than the price given on the phone, although nothing else is needed, ask them to explain why.
The next day
If your key is lost, the cylinder can be changed Mon–Fri between 8 am and 6 pm at the daytime price: 89 € with the door open.
