Fixed price, no VAT charged · daytime Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm · for Markgröningen

Slammed shut or locked?
Did you turn the key when you left? Then the door is locked, and a different price applies. If you only pulled it closed, just the angled latch sits in the strike plate. Tell us which applies; if you don’t know, we’ll work it out together.
During the day in Markgröningen
During the day from Monday to Friday, many neighbours are at work, so a spare key is hard to get. Typical in Markgröningen are very old half-timbered houses with doors in non-standard sizes and prefabricated houses on the edge. For a door that has slammed shut, that’s no problem. With old half-timbered doors, tell us whether there is a modern cylinder or an old rim lock, if you know.

How we open the door
We push the latch back with a flat special tool, without touching the cylinder. On most doors this only takes a short time. Afterwards you show us your ID card or passport, or post with your address.
Doors with a fixed knob
Many flat doors have a fixed knob on the outside instead of a handle. They slam shut very easily, for example in a draught. For the opening this makes no difference; the price stays 99 € during the day.
If the key is in the lock inside
If the key is in the lock on the inside, this usually doesn’t matter with a slammed door, because we work on the latch. Please tell us anyway, so we bring the right tools.
Rented flat
A door that has slammed shut usually isn’t damaged, so your landlord doesn’t need to be involved. You pay the price yourself unless something else has been agreed.
Before you call
Spare key with a neighbour? Can you reach your landlord? If not, have your address, floor and the name on the doorbell ready.
What to watch out for
Ask every company: what does it cost in total? With us, you hear 99 € on the phone if the door has only slammed shut during the day from Monday to Friday.
After the opening
Check that your keys and phone are in your pocket before you pull the door closed next time. A spare key with people you trust saves money.
