The police have been, but the door in Asperg won’t lock any more? We check the cylinder and lock and make sure you can lock up safely again tonight.

Don’t go inside unless you are sure nobody is still there. Call 110. Touch nothing until the evidence has been collected. Then give us a call.

After a burglary the door must close again, ideally the same day. Typical buildings in Asperg are terraced houses and old buildings in the streets below the hill. Tell us the street; the Hohenasperg itself is rarely where we are needed.

Fixed: opening 99 € / 149 € or 129 € / 179 €, cylinder on the same call-out +49 € plus material. Not on the list: emergency securing, door plate, frame. For these you get a fixed price on the phone before we start.

Look at the damage and discuss with you what is needed. Usually: change the cylinder and check whether the lock still bolts. If more is broken, emergency securing at a fixed price once you say yes.

Many newer doors lock at several points. If such a door has been attacked, the repair often needs parts from the manufacturer. We secure the door first and then plan the repair with you.

Reporting it to the police is the first step. Photos taken before any repair help with the insurance. In rented flats, tell the landlord, because the door and frame are often their responsibility. We write an invoice listing every item.

Tidying up or repairing before the evidence has been collected. Going into the flat alone. Blocking the door overnight with a piece of furniture instead of having it secured.

Use the free burglary protection advice from the police. Check your windows and balcony door. Count your keys to see if one is missing.
